I send my deepest sympathy. Shane was a wonderful man, with a big heart and smile. He always greeted me when I stopped by Burgerville when I came in the summer for a visit. Those times will be treasured. May your memories keep you comforted and know that he is in a far better place. God love you all.

To all of Shane’s family,
My trips to Burgerville will never be the same. It was always so great to see Shane’s face when he’d see us “out of towner’s” pulling up to get our orders. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this sad time.

To Shane Richwine Family,
I am sorry for your loss, I had always enjoyed visiting with Shane. Pulling up to Richwines to order that burger will never be same, but will always remind me of him.

Thinking of your gracious family with fond, loving memories of time spent at the Richwine household while growing up in Polson. Life would have not been the same without being relentlessly harassed by the “King”, Mr. Shane Richwine, all in good jest. He is fondly remembered and anytime I came home to visit and he asked me how I was, he genuinely wanted to know…no small talk. He became quite a man of character. My thoughts will surround your family and I will be at your side in spirit, my love to you all. With loving regard, Nancy
We’ll miss Shane, and are thinking of you during this difficult time. We have many good memories from back in the day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We always made a point to stop in and have a burger, catch up on recent Polson happenings and be entertained in the process. ” It’s been a business doing pleasure with you” was one of his favorite lines. Shane will be missed very much by all of us, his memories will live on with us forever.

Dear Vicky,
I have lived in Georgia for > 20 years but I still subscribe to the Courier (sorry, the Leader). This news stunned me. Shane was a bigger-than-life character to most who knew him. Your loss hurts my aging heart in a way that few others could. I was enchanted by your love story, back in high school and now. I am glad that you had as many years together as you did, but you deserved to celebrate your 70th anniversary together. I am so sorry. I wish you and your family peace and comfort.
