Kay will be truly missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Kay and I were classmates and graduated Polson High School in 1959. I remember Kay most fondly and although years and distance have separated us since I left Polson in 1959, she remains one of my childhood classmates I remember vividly for her spirit and zest for life. From my heart to yours, I will hold Kay up to the heavens. For without doubt, she is now dancing with angels. And to all of Kay’s loved ones–your pain is my pain.
Kay will be remembered by me as a fun-loving, positive-thinking person. I always enjoyed visiting with her and talking about our families and our good times at Polson High. She will be missed. My thoughts are with you all during this sad, difficult time.
I enjoyed my many visits with Kay over the phone and no matter how she was feeling she was always in good spirits and uplifting. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God Bless
Your sunny smile, laughter and friendship are missed, dear Kay. Safe journey to a kinder, more gentle place; your pain is no more. You were a woman who overcame adversity and challenges, a nurturer, a mom, grandmother and proud member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. As we discussed many times, you know we will be celebrating your departure and wish you peace. John and I will recall the many years, conversations and sharing of good times with you and many of your family members, whether it was in Montana or Nevada. We’ll see you in the eagle soaring in the blue sky above. Fly free, dear friend.

So sorry to read of Kay’s death. We have known Kay since our years as classmates at Polson High School. We renewed our friendship when we returned to the valley in 2005 and during the planning of our class’ 50th reunion in 2009. She was a kind, gentle, lovely lady and always wore a smile and a twinkle in her eye.
With sympathy, thinking of you all — Jane and David
Lyle, our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Neiss family. We are so sorry to hear of your loss.
I was a classmate and friend of Kay and loved her as the very special person she was. She will be deeply missed but remembered always. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Kay had a wonderful spirit and a heart of caring. She went to see my brother, Kendal, and visited for some time, just to be there and let him know he was important. I, too, was saddened to hear of her parting, but glad to know have known her and to have been in her high school class
Lyle, John, and Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I am sorry for the loss of your mother, but am grateful she isn’t suffering any longer.
All My Love,
Gay

What a lovely and caring woman Kay was, as was evidenced by her care of her grandson! Thank-you Kay for being such a loving and informed advocate!
I will miss you very much!

What a loss to the people here. I knew Kay from 1988 – 1991, when we were involved in the Cursillo movement. I remember her beauty and dedcation, going to 4th Day activities, Ultreyas, and 4th day groupings at her house on Thursday nights. She always ‘told it like it is’, straightening me out about a particular fault of mine – and I still remember to follow her sage advise.
Her loss to her family and the community will be truly felt.
Prayers for her and for those she left behind.
