Billy Jack Sanders

Billy Jack Sanders, 81, of Polson, MT passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at his home from natural causes. Billy was born on July 10, 1927 in Carthage, Missouri to John & Anne Sanders. He moved to Montana at the age of 12. He met and married Florence Bolduc on Oct. 23, 1950 in Kalispell. They lived in Kalispell and in Wyoming for six years before moving to Polson in 1962. He bought his home and cherry orchard on eastshore and started working for Plum Creek Lumber in 1962. He worked as a lumber grader for 28 years and only missed two weeks of work. He loved fishing, hunting, puzzles, playing jokes & berry picking. His wife Florence & his brothers precede him in death. He is survived by his children- Val Knight of Polson, Bill (Lisa) of Polson & Lorna Scott of Polson, granddaughter- Billy James, Nathan, Dakota, Charlisa, Charles, Cinnamon, Caynne, Phillip & Alisha & 3 great grandchildren. A gathering of family & friends will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the family home on the Eastshore of Flathead Lake.
