Obituary for David LeRoy Nowotny

David LeRoy  Nowotny
David LeRoy ("Uncle") Nowotny passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 24th at his home in Polson; he was 68. David was born Sept. 18, 1949 in Longview, WA, to Raymond and Nadine Nowotny.

David was a U.S. Army veteran and lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Bruce.

He is survived by his wife Jeannie, brothers Ray and Tim Nowotny, sisters Marcell Ammon and Nancy Larson, daughter Brenda (Jim) Steiner, Joshua (Ashley) Nowotny, Eli (Cortney) Nowotny, step-sons Kurt (Lena) and Nick Burland, step-daughters Denise and Miranda Burland, grandkids James, Ashlee, Boone, Ellie, Easton, and Kaleb, great-grandson Anders, and nieces Jennifer and Valerie, and nephew Roy.

A small service will be held in the upstairs banquet hall at the Polson VFW, 423 Main St. in Polson on Saturday, August 4th from 2-6 p.m. Family and friends are invited to celebrate David's life and share memories.
