Family of Burnette, Just read of Burnettes passing. I was cleaning for her when she left Minot.
What a kind, wonderful lady. We had such good visits when I was there. I am from Upham, so we knew some of the same people from Willow.
Glad to hear she was still in her apt, and never had to go to a nursing home. I’m sure you will all miss her.
You are in my prayers, Barb Mayer

Guthrie Family, Was saddened to read of Burnettes passing in the paper this a.m. Have thought of her a lot lately. 92 is quite a mile stone to reach and hoepfully she maintaned good health to the end.
My enitre family is at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Minot. I will stop to give her and Jim respect when I visit there.
Got a glimpse of her home in Minot when we drove by the other day. She would have been very pleased, as, it looks like it is well kept and lived in.
Farewell to a wonderful and classy lady. I cherished her friendship and the visits we had and had admiration for her faith and love for all of you.
God Bless you all. Fondly, Phyllis
Mary, Roger, Jim and Ed:
My heartfelt prayers for you all on the loss of your mother, and prayers for your mother’s peaceful rest in Our Lord.
The funeral home posted a beautiful picture of your mother on-line.
May she rest in peace.

To the Guthrie Family,
Sincere sympathy to you in the passing of your mother. She was the secretary and part-time teacher at Willow City Public School when I began my teaching career in 1969. I have fond memories of her. She was a kind, gracious lady. She was also a great hostess when we were invited to the house for dinners or for a visit after school events.
My beautiful grandmother will be missed
Dear Mary, Chuck, Ben, Sarine, Ann, Charyl and all the Guthrie Family & Friends,

God Bless all of you ,

Dear family of Burnette,
What a blessing it was to be Burnette’s Pastor at First Lutheran in Minot, ND. I know few people who were as smart, educated, theological, deep, as Burnette. She would subscribe to BAR [Biblical Archeological Review], absorb its contents and then pass it on to me. I, of course, then would be expected to discuss its finer points with her. I remember her riding with me to Grand Forks to Mary’s and Charles’ home. I still remember pieces of our conversation. She was a treasure to me and to her Church and I also grieve her passing.

I was very sorry to hear of Burnette’s passing. She was a great Aunt. I remember very fondly several family picnics out at the house in Minot some of which my family were able to attend and meet Burnette as well. I’m so glad they had that chance before she moved to Montana. She always seemed to enjoy family and being together.
She will live in our hearts and memories. I know you all miss her as do we.
Our love to everyone, Brent Olson
Dear Cousins and all of the Guthrie family~ Our most sincere sympathy goes out to your family for the loss of a wonderful lady, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Aunt. She certainly lived a long and full life and a great role model to me for truly living her faith and always placing her family first. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to visit Aunt Burnette last August in her home in Polson. She loved showing us her home, and especially pictures of her family! It is now a very special memory.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all as your celebrate her life tomorrow~
With love, Jan and Phil Billiam
