  14. T Alston says:

Although you don’t know me, it saddened me to read about the loss of your loved one. All of us have experienced losing someone and it is never easy. I have been able to cope with such losses by relying on God’s word the bible for encouragement. This has been very beneficial in my life. I have come to appreciate the promise found at Isaiah 33:24 which states that one day “No resident will say ‘I am sick’” and that ‘mourning will come to completion’. (Isaiah 60:20) It is important that you know that God never intended for mankind to die. He tells us that there will one day be a resurrection (John 5:28,29;1 Thessalonians 4:13,14) Our hope in this resurrection begins with our trusting in God. His words will never fail for ‘it is impossible for God to lie’(Hebrews 6:18) May you refer to your own bible and allow God to strengthen you at this time.

  20. Jim and Ginni Lionberger says:

    Dear Jim and family,

We were so saddened to learn of Carole’s passing upon our return to Montana this Monday, June 7. It was our hope that we would be able to visit with Carole once we got back. Our hearts just ache that she has passed before that could happen.

Great memories of the “gang” at the health club and our group dinner at Riciardi’s last fall will warm our hearts as we think of Carole. She was a bright spot and we’ll cherish the “voiced” Christmas card she sent us this last holiday.

May you and yours be warmed by the wonderful life and times you shared with Carole. You have our deepest sympathy.

    With love,
    Jim and Ginni Lionberger

Even though I didn’t know Carol that well, she will be greatly missed. She was such a lighted hearted, open, and sharing person; always easy to talk to and quick to listen. 27. Leslie Byers says:

Carole’s spunk and spitfire attitude were frequently the highlight of my day when working at the Leader. She was the person to call when you were stuck in Vegas and couldn’t find a flight home (because you slept through your 8am reservation). And she’s the only person I’d haul a trunk full of Christmas presents from Polson to Denver for. Her energy and wit will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to Jim and the rest of her family.

We are so sorry for your loss. We got to know Carole at the gym. She was so friendly and welcoming and what a sense of humor. Every time I drove up and saw her car I would think YAY she’s here – she always had a smile and great stories to share. She welcomed us into her home and made us feel like family. Even though her life ended so unexpectedly, it is the time she spent here, the lives she touched and hearts she loved that truly matter. We loved Carole and her memory will live forever in our hearts.

    Jim and Family,

How sad I was to hear about Carole’s passing. How we used to laugh about United, the human condition and our families. What joy her family brought her! She so loved you, Jim. She was crazy for her kids and those dogs!!

I kept putting off coming to see your beautiful home in Missoula, she would say when are you coming? Life is so precious and putting things off is an extravagant waste of time. I miss you Carole.
