Deborah (Ross) Bugosh

On June 17th, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer, Deb passed away peacefully at home , surrounded by her family. Deb chose to reduce her successful banking career in 1999 to a part-time basis so that she could devote her energies to raising her children. She was also able to go back to school in International Business studies during this period. Her illness eventually forced her to quit her business activities, but she never stopped being a full-time mom to her four beautiful children. ] She was fortunate enough to travel the world and touched many lives with her friendly personality and compassion for others. Deb has chosen Polson, Montana for her final resting place as it is where she spent many happy childhood years, graduated from High School, and has family and friends dear to her heart.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Bugosh and younger children, Alexandra Bugosh & Nicholas Andrew Bugosh, all of Ft. Collins, Colorado, daughter, Katie Michele Devlin of Helena, Mt; son, Brian Patrick Devlin of Whitefish, Mt; her mother , Patricia Ross, Ft. Collins, Colorado , brothers, Patrick Ross, Phoenix, Az; Michael Ross, Park City, Ut, sister, Michele Ross, St. Geroge, Ut; and her nephews, Sean Straatsma, Salt Lake City, Ut; and Nicholas Straatsma; Phoenix, Az. That SMILE!! When I think of Deb, it’s her smile that first comes to mind and then, her boundless energy!! She was a joy to grow up with, an example of beauty and strength. Please know that her loss is mourned by many and that we pray for you, her family, as you cope with the emptines that her departure leaves in your lives.
God Bless you all!!

Time passes, but childhood memories seem forever clear. What a gracious and beautiful lady. My thoughts are with your family and hope peace will gently replace the anguish of losing Deb. She is truely a gem.
With love and fond regard,
Nancy
I worked with Deb at First Citizens Bank in Polson. She became a very good friend. I loved her smile and her laugh. We also shared our faith life and worked a couple of Cursillo retreat weekends together. She was a strong and beautiful woman. She will be missed. May God’s grace see you through your tears. Brian and Katie, hang in there.

I remember Debbie being this cute little girl with a big smile. Michelle and I were friends during high school so I have not seen her for years but I remember her as this really sweet person. I’m glad she got back to Polson as we all have great memories of those times. So sorry for the Ross and Bugosh families. My thoughts are with you.

Deb, we didn’t know each other well, but I know Michele well, and you touched my life even with though our encounter was brief.
My love and prayers are with Deborah’s family at this time. I am a neighbor of Michele Ross. Since finding out about Deborah’s illness I have been praying for her and her family.
To Deb’s Family:
Because we love, when a loved one dies, we feel sorrow and grief. People we love may disappear, but they never go away. Deb is/was an incredible person, full of love to give, and an infectious smile that brought happiness to everyone she was with. She touched many lives in a beautiful way. These are the memories that will last, as well as the strength and courage she faced her illness with.
Deb exhibited a contagious energy and magnetism to all she knew. Our biggest regret is that Deb did not come into our lives sooner. Through her sister, Michele, we got to know and love this beautiful person. We will always treasure the times we spent together traveling the world and talking. Although the time of our friendship was too short, the huge impression she has made on our lives is lasting. We thank Michele for the privilege and memories of knowing and loving Deb.
May you trust God that Deb is exactly where she is meant to be now, and realize that she is still with us in spirit and memories. And God has a new angel with a big heart and a beautiful smile. She will be in our minds and in our hearts forever. Her love lives! May the good memories of Deb’s life be with you forever, and fill the void her passing leaves us with.
Deb - With love, until we meet again!

I graduated from PHS with Deb, and was in the Junior Miss competition with her. She won the crown, and it was through that that I learned first hand how much hysterical fun she was! We had such a blast working on the dance routine, getting ready for all the different parts of that thing! The world will always be a better place because she was in it. She was a beautiful example of what a gracious, charming, lovely person should be. I will always remember her…God bless you, her family and us her friends…
