John and Muriel send our condolences to all members of the Schlaile family for the loss of Erich. You all have been the very best of friends. And for Antonja, Tanja, Tim, and Tina for being our very best neighbor back in 1954 to 1956 in Long Bar Harbor, Maryland. This was a time when we surely did need a good neighbor and good friends, and you supplied that need and the memories that go with it. The clock that you gave us still hangs over the mantel to tell us when its time to get moving. You have been prayed for and we will continue to pray for you all in the future.
John & Muriel

Erich’s death is a loss to all of us. I’ll always remember how he and Tanja helped and supported the deaf ministry at Shaw Street Church of Christ. Their service and dedication really endeared them to Alpha and I since we had a deaf daughter, Delia Fisher.
Erich was such a smart, kind, and gentle man. It broke our hearts when he had his first stroke…having another was just too much to bear. Now he’s in Heaven with those who’ve gone before and no longer in pain. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the family. May you find comfort in the love of friends and your precious memories. I treasure the memories I have of Erich and Tanja. God bless all of you.
Much love,
Dear Ones, our prayers and hearts are full of love and sympathy for you at this time. You are such special people and our lives are blessed to have known you. God bless all of you. Much Love, Bobby and Lynne Hooper

Dear Mrs. Schlaile and children, I saw your husband and father’s obituiary in the Pasadena, Tx. Citizen. My family and I extend our most sincere condolences. I lived on Dusky Rose also and served with you one year as room mother at L.F.Smith Elem.School–for my Mary and, I believe, your Tina. We have just moved from that street but are still in Pasadena. Mrs. Shannon still lives across the street from your former home. I hope you are well and again please accept our condolences and give our regards to your children. I hope that you are well. Sincerely, Ruth Trout
