I did love my Grandmother very much. She was a special and gentle spirit and had a smile that lit up the room, no equal comparison have I ever seen before. She is with her husband now, just like it always has been and forever will be.
Connie and family. I am sorry for your loss. Your mom always had a smile on her face, when we were young and when Marguerite and I were on your dad’s bowling team in Polson. Your dad took such good care of your mom. My best to you and your family.
Peggy (Howell) Aerni-Pick

Dear Connie, Linda and family of Erma,
It is with fondness that I recall Erma putting up with the silly girl nonsense we enjoyed growing up. Adrienne, Peggy, Sue, Jane and many other Polson school buddies, including me enjoyed slumber parties, lots of giggling and great food at Erma and Clair’s home. It was a convenient place for Adrienne and I to walk next door to visit Erma and see Connie. Rest in peace, Erma; your lovely husband, Clair’s welcoming you home. Bless you Connie, Linda and family members; keep your memories of dear Erma alive.

Our thoughts and praryers are with you and may your mother always be remembered.
Connie, I have communicated with your privately, but want to add my heartfelt feelings in this public forum to both you and Linda, your children and grandchildren. Remarkable women are hard to forget; hold your memories of this dear lady close to your hearts always. As she blessed you, so you always were her blessing.
Dear Connie, Linda and Families — So sorry to hear of Erma’s passing. She played a big role in the memories of our youthful lives in Polson. Those memories include that lovely, quiet smile and the gracious hospitality in your home. Thinking of you all. With love and prayers. David and Jane
Dear Connie,
KInd thoughts and sympathy from Helena, Montana on the loss of your mom. The great smile on her picture really brought back memories of her when we all were growing up in Polson. That smile also reflects a life very full of love and joy with all the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, I am sure you will all miss her very much, and my sympathy goes out to you all. Love, Judy
We missed you at the reunion, and I hope we’ll both make the next one.
Thinking of both of you “daughters” and knowing what it feels like to be the older generation. Dale and I share your grief and have such good memorie of both Clair and Erma..
Connie, Linda & families, Many of us know how hard it is to lose your parents. Just know that we all are keeping you in our thoughts & prayers. Erma was a wonderful little lady and I know you will miss her a lot but soon the memories will replace the sadness & you will be able to smile and laugh again. She & Clair were great people. Love you, Sandy Weaver
I have such good memories of Erma when visiting Connie. She was so light-hearted and fun to be around. Connie, my condolences to you and your family. When I go to see my niece in Grandview, I always go by your house. I guess because of “memories!”
