Frances E. Hansen
Frances E. Hansen, 96, of Polson, MT, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson.
Frances was born on July 29, 1913 in Eagle Rock, California. She married John F. Hansen in 1936 and together ran a home flooring business. John passed away in 1968. Frances was also an Avon sales representative for many years. She loved her church family at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by two stepchildren.
Survivors include her son, Fred Hansen; a stepdaughter, Betty Jackson; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.groganfuneralhome.com. Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson is assisting the family.
Frances Hansen was my favorite person to take care of. After she passed away I left the nursing home. I loved Frances so much and I always told her. She always talked with me about what she loved and what she didn’t like. I got very close to Frances and everybody told me I babied her,but Frances was my favorite. I wish I could get a picture of her. I have so many memories and look forward to seeing this wonderful woman in the Paradise earth when all will be perfect. I miss Frances so much. She loved so many things and I was so worried hearing of her going into the hospital, and I will always remember her in her pink clothes and sweaters staying warm and cozy.
