Frances I. Reid, 69, of Polson, MT passed away at her home on May 27, 2009.

            Frances was born on Nov. 4, 1939 in Orange, Calif. To Albert & Claudia Reid.

            Frances had traveled to all 50 states during her life. She had owned three convenience stores in three different states. She had developed and sold a farm in Oregon. She had made and sold wooden wall décor in California and many times Frances was doing more than job at a time.

            She moved to Polson and never wanted to leave. She loved the people and the area in a way that was special to her which she quietly and deeply felt.

            She worked at Big Sky Fabrication, Tamsco & Polson Bay Grocery.          

Frances enjoyed bowling.

Her parents and a brother John Leon Reid precede her in death.

She is survived by lifelong friends- Pat Sands, Chris Sands & Marcus Sands and many other friends she made and cared for in Polson for the last 25 years.

She is also survived by her sisters- Tracy Reid of Florida, Carol (Bob) Hickson of New Mexico & Judie Reid of Parker, Ariz. & several nieces.
