Dear Aunt Cheryl,
I know that losing Fred, my Uncle Stan, is a great loss for you. I miss him too. All of my time and memories of him are, without a doubt, positive and fun. What a life this man has enjoyed with you by his side. I remember things about him even as a small child because of his love and kindness to all of the kids in the family, and he was a giant in all of our eyes. I am so glad I got to talk to him last week. Pat and I are here for you Cheryl for anything you need. We love you.
Dad,
I know your in heaven right now and not suffering any longer. You where a incedible person, inside and out. I use to think you where superman. Mom Know that I love you very much.
My Dearest Sister,
Fred was a humble man–he never bragged about the big things in his life, that he played music with Willy Nelson, that he had been good friends with Waylon Jennings or that he knew Merle Haggard. He never much mentioned that he was a star in the 60′s or that he played with the Mindbenders. You had to pry information out from him–that he was a Green Beret, that he spoke German fluently and had been in Beirut–he was humble about those things. They weren’t important to him. But what Fred did boast about was you Cheryl, how beautiful you are, how brilliant, what a good hunter and fisherwoman you are. You could never eat a meal at your home when Fred didn’t repeat a hundred times how great your cooking was–how fabulous you are. You are soul mates. Love goes on. Your love will last forever.
I will miss you Fred but you are at long last “on the road again.’ What a wonderful life you led–we remember you with pride and love.
Our deepest sympathy,
Debra and Robert
