            Gary Lynn Purser, 78, of Polson, MT passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his home. purser-garyflag2

            Gary was born on February 19, 1932 in Rigby, ID, son of the late Clifford and Bernice Robbins Purser He joined the US Air Force in 1948 and was honorably discharged in 1952. He married Karen Bergmann in 1974. Karen passed away in 2008. Gary was well known for his knowledge and love of horses and horse training.

            Besides his parents, a daughter, Belinda, preceded Gary in death.

            Survivors include his children; daughters, Tiffany Purser Learn of Polson, Savanna Purser of Polson, and Roxane Cowen of Arizona; sons, Casey Purser of Arizona, Aaron Purser of Polson, and Houston Purser of Polson, and 7 grandchildren.

            An open-house memorial for Gary will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 from 5 – 7 PM at the Valley View Clubhouse in Polson.
