Lapka Family:
We just had to say hi and that we are sorry for your loss. George bought cattle for William Gill of Eureka, my dad, for many years.
William passed away in Apirl of 2005 at age 90.
William told us several stories about George.
May he rest in peace until Christ’s soon coming.

Please know that you are all in the thoughts and prayers of the many Lapka family members residing here in the Aberdeen/Leola area. My mother, Fern Kline, now the last living sibling of Uncle George, (she will be 99 in September and resides in Mother Joseph Manor Retirement Community) has been talking often in recent months about her brother George and wondering where he was and how he was doing–she would then proceed to tell me stories of their growing up as children on the Lapka farm!
I have informed her of Uncle George’s passing and she was comforted in her faith and trust that in God’s mercy and love, He will welcome Uncle George into his eternal home!
Please accept our sympathy and love at this time of loss and may God bless the memory of Uncle George Lapka.

I had known George for quite some time, he was the classist cowboy I have ever known. Ha always carried himsrlf with class and dignity. I wish I had known him when he was younger. He was a hellaof fella!
George was a real cowboy, and friend. I wish him well on his new journey…
I will always remember “Dancing George” as the “Blind man that taught me how to see” He had a brilliant mind, best dressed cowboy in Montana, and very kind to many people ( a secret). I love him but couldn’t live with him. He is always in my prayers. Til we meet in that Big Ballroom in the Sky. Your former wife, Teresa
George was a wonderful man. Our very own cowboy. We loved him dearly and enjoyed the time we had with him. He and Jim got along great and had many laughs. We will always treasure the memories and the wonderful time we had when George visited us in Alaska. We will miss you.
