I was so very saddened to hear about Glenda’s passing. We shared the same birthday month and some fun times growing up in our neighborhood in Polson. We weren’t able to get together much after high school, but I always looked forward to seeing her and catching up during class reunions. I will miss her greatly.

I am so unbelievably sad to realize we have lost Glenda, a wonderful childhood friend and neighbor who I shared volumes of memories with. Glenda always had that great smile and sense of humor that I will remember forever.

We were that big unruly family that moved in across the street that had children galore. There were three of us across the street from one another; Glenda, Norma and I spent many, many hours together and I believe loved one another dearly. One of my most laughable memories was when ‘Tillie’ would go to alter society on Tuesday nights. Glenda and I would hide in the back seat under a blanket and take the car for ‘joy rides’ after her mother would go into the meeting. That all worked just fine until the time when we returned someone had taken the parking place. Did we ever get into hot water! There were more~

She will be forever a very good friend~I truly loved her dearly.

So many memories of when I was little…. you treated me like a part of the family. I remember crying when you two retired and moved away to Montana. The visit I made to Montana shortly after. You were always smiling and laughing. You are loved so much by so many people, you will be missed forever and always…..

  10. Paulette Morigeau O'Neill says:

    Mike & Family,

Glenda was a bright spot in everyone’s day. She had that great smile that could change anyone’s bad day into a good one. We were neighbors growing up and I will always remember with envy I might add, the “little house” she was so fortunate to have. It was an honor to be invited into her private room since she was an “upper classmate”! I have a few memories of those wonderful days. I am even more glad that we had the opportunity to re-connect after all those years passed. I will miss her as I know each of you will. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

    Dear Mike,

I was deeply saddened to hear about Glenda. After the SPD meet in Bigfork, I was definitely looking forward to a get together. It has been along time since our days in Seattle. We never know how much time we have left, and I’m very sorry our get together did not happen.

    Take care, Curt and Karen

Mike, We are so sorry to hear about Glenda. We have been in Oregon all summer and didn’t know about her death until this morning when we picked up our phone messages. Dave Nelson had called us. We know this is a difficult time for you, but try to remember the good times we all had with Glenda – the trip to Palm Springs, the parties at Kettells, and especially the two trips to Hawaii. We have never had as much fun on a vacation as we did with the two of you.
Please pass on our sympathy to LaRae, Kim and families.
Mike, We are always thinking about you and especially at this time. Please keep in contact and come over to visit us in Arizona.
    Your friends, Cliff & Colleen
