A gentlman and a friend – plus a pleasant and
capable golfer! You will be missed, Harry!
I was very sorry to hear of your father’s passing. We attempted to connect with him when we first moved back to Montana a few years ago, but didn’t reach him. He was always such a good friend to our family, and took very good care of our father after mom died.
Please know our hearts are with you all.
My earliest lesson I remember learning from my Grandpa was to get those elbows off the table during dinner! More importantly, my favorite and most recent lessons he taught me were: 1. Know what you want, and push for it (with a smile, of course). 2. Don’t take yourself too seriously, even in tough situations. And 3. If you don’t think you can make it to the green with a 4-iron between the trees, you are exactly right. Have confidence in what you are doing and you might just surprise yourself. We miss you, Grandpa!
To the Family of Harry Britton:
I want to give you all my deepest condolence. Harry was so good to my mom, Betty Hudson. Even when she was ending her last few days she asked how Harry was. Harry always stopped in to check on her when he got his golf cart from the garage and returning to check on her as well. He was loved by so many and he will be missed.
My very best to all of you.

Chris, Kenny, and Diane- I have the fondest memories of both your mother and father. The last time we were all together was for Art & Hazel’s 50th. We all stayed together at Fairmont and had a ball. I remember playing with you guys as very young kids at the ranch, hide and seek, riding Snip. Many good memories of your grandparents at their home in Great Falls. We have followed your lives through your parents…Chris & I even followed the same profession.
Very special friends to my parents, adopted parents to all of us…both of your parents were a very special part of John and my life and will not be forgotten. Bless you all and be greatful for the wonderful memories.

Our condolences to the family of Harry Britton. He was a very special friend and relative (Ruth’s uncle). We remember especially when he was building his new house in Polson and how pruod he was of it. The game of golf will never be the same without him playing.
