John Leonard Pfefferkorn
John Leonard Pfefferkorn, 57, of Proctor, MT, husband of Debbie Pfefferkorn, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Polson. Mt. of a heart attack.
John was born on May 7, 1952 in Charles City, Iowa, the son of the late Leonard and Doris Westergard Pfefferkorn. John graduated from Charles City High School and attended Wartburg and Central Colleges, both in Iowa. On May 16, 1998, he married Deborah Hughes. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Pfefferkorn, his loving wife, Debbie of Proctor, MT, his sister, Linda Bartlett of Kalispell, MT, two step-daughters and two step-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. my thoughts and prayers are with Debbie. John was an amazing man and he and Debbie had a wonderful marriage. He will be sorely missed by all.

I am sorry to learn about the death of John Leonard Pfefferkorn. This must have been a difficult time for all. Therefore, I am forwarding Scripture to bring solace. Please, read the following scriptures: Psalm 90:10, Genesis 5:3-32 and Hebrews 9:27.
My heartfelt condolences to all. John and I go back to kindergarten. Plus I was part of the western trek from Iowa to Montana with John in 1973. John and I shared many great times together and will be missed greatly.
