Kathy was my friend, and I am a better person because of her. You must know, she loved her family above all else. She was always making something for one of her loved ones, and delighted in her children and grandchildren. Kathy, you were a great quilter. I will miss your smile, your hugs, and your warmth.
Kathy you will be deeply missed. Your special friendship will always hold a special
place in my heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
Arlan, Yvette and everyone – we are so very sorry to see that you have lost Kathy. She belonged to the Quilt Guild that I’m in and was a wonderful person. Yvette, I had no idea that she was your mom – and Arlan, you went to school with Nels – what a small world. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve over your loss. Time will help, and never forget the good times that I’m sure you shared with each other. God be with you all. You have our deepest sympathy.
Kathy was a dear friend of mine that I will miss so much. Her smile always lite up a room and she had a heart of gold and always thought of others. I will miss you dearly, Kathy and think of you forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Kath was a “One of a Kind” friend. We worked together for years in ECF in Ronan, and have done alot of quilting together in the last several years–enjoying retreats, fabric shopping from Eureka to Missoula, and what we called our “Sew Day”. You were a special friend and I will miss you. My thoughts are with your family at this time.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Kathy was a wonderful person and a careing friend. I worked with her off and on over the past 25 years and will miss her greatly.
I am so sorry to hear about Kathy’s passing She was always such a help to everyone and she will be missed deeply. My prayers are with the family.

To Kathleen’s family~
I was at Walmart when I saw Kathleen after she collapsed. I want to express my sincere feelings of sympathy and heartfelt sadness for her premature loss. My heart goes out to you, also as I lost my mom on Christmas Eve, 1987 at age 59, so I know how hard it is at this time of year to lose someone so special who was so young.
My thoughts are with you,
Elizabeth
Arlan, and Kathy’s Children, My prayers are with all of you..Kathy was a wonderful person
My prayers are with your family, Kathy was a wonderful person…She will be missed by the whole communiy. I feel very blessed to have known her.
Compassionate, giving, loving…..Kathy was the definition of these words. We are beyond saddened by her “leaving us behind” but rejoice that she is reaping her rewards in Heaven.
I was fortunate as a young nurse to work with Kathy who taught me the value of “tender loving care”. Many years later we were blessed to welcome her into our family. We will miss her terribly and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Arlan, Yvette, Yvonne, Amy and families……Kathy lived for you and was very proud of you all! God Bless You!!!

My mom was my best friend in the world. I loved her with all my being. She was so loving, caring, gentle, kind, a great listener(God knows I needed to talk to her constantly!) thoughtful, sweet, funny, beautiful… I could just go on and on…My heart goes out to Arlan most of all, who I also love, it will be hardest on him. Please everyone check on him for us. She was his world. He cherished her, (worshiped the ground she walked on) she would say! We will misss her dearly. Love you Mom
Kathy (Margaret) was not only my cousin but she was my bestest friend in the whole wide world. We shared such a special bond that I can’t imagine life without her. If someone asked me to name one word that would best describe Kathy I would say, “laugh”. She made me laugh all of the time. When we were together, on the phone, or emailing back and forth….. we were always laughing. My heart aches, and I miss her deeply, and I want her to know that I’m thinking about her. So many people say that we are just passing through and if that is truly the case then Kathy has now gone “home”. Keep Your Sunny Side Up Kathy (Margaret). I love you millions, zillions and gazillions
I will miss seeing her cheerful, smiling face at the hospital. When she would see me, she would call me by name and ask me how my family and I were doing. She will be greatly missed and had a compassionate heart for people she would meet.
I am so saddened by the loss of Kathy. She was a wonderful, warm loving person. I loved working with her on projects for the quilt guild. I am sorry not to be with you tomorrow, but the distance from California precludes. Know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you all day.
Arlan and family,
May the Lord hold you close at this time. Know that Kathy will always be near. Sending love and courage in this time. my deepest sympathy. love Karen
Words can’t describe the feeling I have about the loss of Margaret!!!! It just doesn’t seem real to me!! What an amazing women!! Even though I had not known her my entire life the short time I did know her I loved ever bit of her. She was always so uplifting. It was always a joy to have her come to Denver and visit and of course us 4 girls (Gail, Connie, Margaret & Me) got together and laughed like little girls the entire time. We also shared e-mails all of the time or a simple card in the mail and of course the most famous ‘BOX’ at Christmas time. We always said we wished we lived closer and at this time I would give anything to live close just to be with the family in all of our time of sorrow. Margaret will be deeply missed but NEVER forgotten!! Love you a million, gazillion, billion times over!!! And here is a BIG hug from me to you!!!! XOXO
I can’t describe the emptiness I feel in my heart for my mom aka Margaret! Over the last 13 years she has become my best friend. I will miss her more than a sore thumb as she used to say! I love you Mom and I will miss you with all my heart.
Thank you everyone for your kind words. We are not sure if she knew just how many lives she touched. I think she was looking down in awe on the day of the service and touching all again!
kathy was a wonderful person and i am lucky to have known her. I knew her on a personal level because my husband is a doctor at St. Lukes. She also cared for me while i was in the hospital a few times. she always wore a smile on her face. I have a quilt that she made for my first son when he was born that has since been passed on to my second. I cherish having a piece of her with me. My thoughts are with her family.
