Lillian was a strong Christian woman and was active in the former Polson Christian Church, holding several offices and sang in the church choir, as she loved music. She was also a Cub Scout Leader. Lillian loved to read, write, travel, baby sit, playing piano, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell, and her five brothers, Cliffton, Albert, Norman, Wilber, and Sonny Rinehart; a sister Dorthy Winkle; her daughter, Laura Grant, and two sons, Richard and Donald A. Grant.
Those left with cherished memories are her daughters; Tami (Randy) Hart and Karen Tucker; a son Todd (Sue) Grant; two daughters in law, Judy and Audrey Grant; two sisters in law, Agnes Rinehart and Velma Winkle; her dear friend, Delane Newgard and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Tammy and Family,
I have been thinking about you and hope you are doing ok. I know you took good care of her and how hard it is towards the end. Take care.
You know how mom and our whole family felt about Lillian. She was so special to me and of course she and mom were the best of friends. I hope they are singing in the heavenly choir together
carol
Tammy and the rest of Lillian’s family,
After reading Carol’s message, I had to add my own. I have fond memories of Lillian when I was growing up as well. It is a sad time, but also a time to be thankful for all the wonderful years you had her in your life! There are enough years between us, that you probably remember my Tammy more than me, but I will always remember Lillian and the times we had not only at church, but at the park for swim lessons and then to the snack wagon for our treat. I am sure that your mom and many of the other ladies from that great little church are singing in the heavenly choir and I’m sure they sound “better” now than ever!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Paulette
Tammy and family, Sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a great lady. Had fun working for your mom and dad at the popcorn stand
Lillian was such a wonderful person. I admired her positive attitude through the years. She was a friend to so many. She will be missed. I loved it when she and Russel adopted the girls. What a giving person. We can all learn from her example. She did what a Christian is suppose to do. She leaves a legacy that will go on for many years to come.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know your mom very well, but I do remember buying tiger’s blood snow cones when swimming at the Golf Course. She was always nice to me. For our generation, that little snow cone and popcorn stand was a Polson institution.
