Clara A. Callahan age 88 of Polson passed away on Monday February
26, 2007 at St. Luke Hospital in Ronan from natural causes. She was
born October 13, 1918 in Pennsylvania, to James K. and Antoinette (Frome)
Beggs.
Clara grew up in Pennsylvania and California.
She married Maxwell Hildebrant in 1945.
Clara lived in southern California most of her adult life before
moving to Polson, MT in 1987.
She was active with the foster grandparent program at Linderman
Elementary school in Polson. Clara also loved to visit & travel. She
just loved people.
She was preceded in death by her husband Max and 7 siblings
including Milton Beggs. Her 2 sons- Ray Osburn and wife Lana of
Polson, and David Hildebrant and wife Sue of Indianapolis, Indiana
survive Clara, along with 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a
later date. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Grogan
Funeral Home and Crematory.
