Doug Brown, 67, of Big Arm, MT. died at his home on Sunday, February 4, 2007.  Doug was born on July 25, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry & Esther Brown. He grew up and attended schools in St. Louis. He graduated form high school at Jennings High School in St. Louis and attended college at North Texas State.  Doug married Florence Maurer on Sept. 13, 1972 in St. Louis County, Missouri.  Doug worked most of his career as computer operator with the federal government. He and Florence moved to the Polson area in 1996 and shortly thereafter bought their place in Big Arm.  Doug liked leather crafting & especially enjoyed his dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife Florence of Big Arm & 4 children:  Kirk Brown of Big Arm, Bradley Ray of Port Orchard, WA,  Susan Ray-Badger of Mt. Vernon, Ill & David Ray of Pevely, Missouri, 10 grandchildren and a brother Ron Brown of Texas.  No services are planned and cremation has taken place.
