Evelyn Lucille Doyle, 88, of Polson, MT. passed away at her home on April 24, 2006.
Evelyn was born on May 1, 1917 in Harrington, WA. to Robert & Bessie Withee.
She grew up and attended schools in Washington.
Evelyn married D.J. “Mick” Doyle on August 6, 1942 in Great Falls, MT. She followed Mick during his service in the U. S. Navy and after his military service they moved to Montana. They started ranching south of Dillon near Red Rock. They continued to ranch until 1979, at which time they retired to Flathead Lake. They continued to live on the lake until moving to Polson in 1990.

Evelyn enjoyed the ranch life and took pride in raising her family. She enjoyed gardening and her specialties were sweet peas and roses. Evelyn also enjoyed playing golf and was an avid reader.
She was a member of both the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Elks Auxiliary.
Evelyn in preceded in death by her husband Mick, her parents and 2-brothers- Ernie & Bob and sisters- Viv & Maribelle.
She is survived by her children - Mike Doyle & his wife Dolores of Parker, Colo.
Bob Doyle and wife Marty of Corpus Christi, TX
Dan Doyle & wife Laura of Ed Couch, TX.
Margi Corey of Choteau, MT.
6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be held on Thursday, April27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church with Father Val Zdilla officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
