Forrest Mills Davis, 82, of Ronan, MT., beloved husband, grandfather and friend died June 23, 2005 in Portland, Oregon.
Forrest was born at home in Flat Creek, Washington on July 23, 1922 to Albert Welington Davis & Zelia (Mills) Davis. Forrest grew up in Washington and served in WWII.

He married Charlene May Secrest in 1947. They had a ranch in Flat Creek where they raised two daughters. They moved to Polson, MT. in 1972 to continue ranching. Forrest was a great horseman and shared that great love of horses with many other people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Charlene, his stepson Danny Laird, 3 brothers- Fred, Frank & Arden and 2 sisters, Garland & Lucille and a grandson Shane Winnop.
He is survived by 2 daughters- Charlene Davis of Hayden Lake, Idaho & Candy (Pete) Weimer of Ronan,MT, grandchildren Callie Orien (Shane) of Polson, Chad Weimer (Angie) of Pablo, great grandchildren- Ashley Winnop of Jacksonville, Fla., Alexys Orien & Makaliah Wilson of Polson, numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, June 29th & 30th from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Grogan Funeral Home, Polson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Life Christian Center in Polson. Burial will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery, Polson.
