Harold L. McCay passed away on Wednesday night June 25, 2008 at his home surrounded by the love of his family.  Harold was born on December 27, 1926 to Frank and Carrie McCay in Jordan, Montana.  He attended school in Jordan.  From there, he went in the service where he spent three hitches in the Merchant Marines.  He was a very private man, so I’m sure there is a lot we never knew.  Most of his life, after the service, he spent in the oil fields.  His favorite place was Alaska, but spent time in many of the lower 48 states and in Canada.  Pa is the most awesome man I’ve ever known.  He will be missed beyond words by all of us who loved him.  His parents and brother Frank, Jr. preceded Harold in death.  He is survived by his wife Ada, stepdaughter Lauri (Joe) Johns, three grandsons James Ogden, Michael (Robin) Ogden, Weston Berg, and his sister Donna Tatro and her family of Riverton, WY.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery with full military honors.  A reception will follow the services at the Polson VFW Hall.
