Morris Conrad Bjorge, age 90 of Polson, formerly of Hot Springs passed away from natural causes on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at St. Luke Community Hospital at Ronan, MT. Morris was born on May 10, 1917 in Kalispell, MT to Martin and Clara Bjorge. Morris graduated from Polson High School in 1936. On November 14, 1963, Morris married Adell Hobbs at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Morris ranched all of his life in Garcon Gulch on the family homestead. He was a member of the Accordian Association, Sons of Norway, Trinity Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, and attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church after he moved to Polson. Morris enjoyed accordion music, the Old Time Fiddlers, writing and telling historical stories. Morris always had a story for the date. His parents Martin and Clara, and his wife Adell preceded Morris in death. He is survived by his sons Marvin (Laura) Bjorge of Polson, Carl Bjorge of Tacoma, WA, and his four grandchildren Gina, James, Elisabeth, and David. Visitation will be held at Grogan Funeral Home on Friday August 17, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 18, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Rowold and Pastor Greg Perkins officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Fellowship Hall. Interment will take place at Murray Memorial Cemetery at Lonepine, MT at 2:00 pm with Rev. Janet Young officiating. Memorials may be made to Pinehaven Christian Childrens Ranch, Trinity Lutheran Church of Hot Springs, Hot Springs Senior Citizen Center Transportation or The Gideons International in the name of Morris Bjorge.
