Lois “Ruth” Hall POLSON – Lois “Ruth” Hall, 92, of Polson, MT our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, went to be with our Heavenly Father on a clear brisk night on December 7, 2009 from natural causes. Ruth, a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, was born on September 16, 1917 in Ronan, Montana. She attended schools throughout the Mission Valley. She graduated from Polson High School in 1938. Ruth was married in 1942 to Mark Hall in Tacoma, Washington right before Mark was shipped overseas to serve in World War 2. In the years leading up to their marriage, she attended Beautician school in Spokane. While her husband was overseas, she practiced her trade in various towns in Washington state. Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband Mark Hall, her mother Mary Rose Morigeau Clairmont, her father John Clairmont, her brothers Harold, Eugene “Gene”, Lawrence, Phillip, and her sisters Lillian Thomas, Alice Sly, Mary “Bernice” Bryant, Myrtle Whittle. Ruth left behind her six children Grayce (Gary) Grinolds, Sharon (Dick) Silberman, Larry (Mary) Hall, Leonard (Sandy) Hall, Geri (Bud Papin) Hall, and Linda (Gary) Faucett. In addition to her children, she lovingly left behind 13 grand children and 8 great grand children as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends. A Rosary Vigil will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Polson on Friday Dec. 11 at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday Dec. 12 at the church. Reception is to follow in the basement of the church. Grave site services are to be determined at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Lake County Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be left at www.groganfuneralhome.com

    Ruth was one of my mothers’ (Marie Browning) best friend. I remember Ruth and Mark when they lived in Washington and in Montana. They were a joy to be around. My prayers and thoughts are with the Hall family.
