Walter William Zook, 89, of Polson, MT, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at his home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson, is assisting Mr. Zook’s family. www.groganfuneralhome.com.
We had the pleasure of knowing Walt Zook for the past 10 years.
I carpooled with him to the Lions Club Meeting. He used to love to tell the story of his dad building the fireplace at the Yellow Bay Club and getting the tile from the quarry at Perma, Mt. The other story he used to tell was working the dams in Montana with the Zook brothers, while Trudy his wife would be the cook.
